Maybe I’m ready for it?

I’m pretty sure you can never really be mentally or emotionally ready to start your intern year. So many unknowns! So much responsibility!

I. Just. Can’t.

BUT!

Even if I can’t be psychologically ready, I can be dinner-ready. I WILL be dinner ready. The power of positive thinking.

Sounds like kind of a lame way to spend my last day of stay-cation, but my plan for Sunday is to meal prep, meal prep, and meal prep some more. Like, full on cook all of our meals for the week. I may not be home in time to eat the dinner but at least I’ll know that my husband isn’t trying to feed my child his leftover chocolate bunny from Easter as a balanced meal. And THAT kind of peace of mind is priceless.
