Beautiful recipe but wow, really? More doom-and-gloom “bathing suit season” fearmongering? We get that shame from everywhere else in the media, why not just focus on choosing healthy foods, feeling amazing about yourself, and having a great summer?

    • Joanne says:

Hi Anonymous, thanks so much for your opinion! I totally agree with you that the focus should be on eating healthy and feeling great because of it but I’d be lying if I said that bathing suit season didn’t bring out the worst in my self esteem issues or that I didn’t feel utterly self conscious wearing one. I’m working on it. I certainly didn’t mean to shame anyone. I just know that I feel better about the way I look when I eat healthy foods and, whether I’ve lost weight from doing so or not, feel much more comfortable with my body. That’s the message I meant to get across and I’m sorry if that wasn’t conveyed.
