It has been a week.
I’ve been drinking pumpkin beers for dessert every night (on top of actual dessert) and I’m not even sorry about it.
Friday especially was just a rough day. At the end of every week I feel like I’ve earned the weekend, but this weekend (and by weekend I mean Sunday, my one day off) I earned it. Maybe that means someone will cook dinner for me instead of the other way around? Doubtful. But a girl can hope.
Tell me all about your fun weekend plans in the comments! I want to live vicariously through them.

Your day of doing nothing isn’t such a bad thing!
Hang in there Joanne! You are doing great! Try and find some time for yourself today!
Not being accusatory, just curious. But do you just copy She Likes Food’s weekly meal plans every week (word for word and picture for picture) and post it as your own without any credit to them? This is exactly their post with just the intro changed…
Izzy (the writer of She Likes Food) and I are good friends! We actually collaborate with three other bloggers (Sarah of Making Thyme For Health, Julia of The Roasted Root, and Alyssa of Hummusapien) to put these weekly meal plans together. If you look on our five sites, you’ll notice that the meal plans are identical (with the exception of the intros at the top). Every month we each choose the recipes we want to feature that month and one of us works to put together the meal plans. It would be a ton of work to try to do this on our own, so it’s nice to collaborate with other bloggers whose recipes we love.
I can totally get how this would be confusing, so hopefully that cleared things up!!
I don’t know how you do it all. You’re amazing! This weekend we went to something called Forage and Feast, where you go on a walk through the woods with a guide who knows a poisonous mushroom from an edible one, and then you have a lovely lunch afterward (made from some things foraged, and others not. We found mushrooms, wild leeks and wild garlic. So much Fun!
