Nutella Swirled Banana Bread

Super moist banana bread made extra decadent with chocolate hazelnut nutella swirls! This recipe makes two loaves - one to keep and one to share.
Yield: 2 (8-inch) loaves
Ingredients
  • 2 cups (480 g) mashed ripe bananas (about 4)
  • 1 cup (200 g) brown sugar
  • ½ cup (110 g) unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3⅓ cups (400 g) all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1½ tsp baking soda
  • 1½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ cup (140 g) nutella
Instructions
  1. Heat oven to 350F. Grease two 8x4-inch loaf pans, then line with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Mix together the bananas, brown sugar, butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate smaller bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredient mixture. Mix just until smooth.
  4. Warm the nutella in the microwave for 20-30 seconds until soft.
  5. Scoop a quarter of the banana batter into each of the prepared baking pans. Drizzle half of the nutella over the two pans, then use a knife to zigzag the nutella through the batter.
  6. Add the remaining batter to the pans, then top with swirls of the remaining nutella. Swirl the nutella into the batter with the knife again.
  7. Place in the oven and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
