Happy weekend!!

Remy and I are baking a (belated) birthday cake for me this weekend, so I’m pretty jazzed about that. She initially said she wanted me to make a SEAWEED flavored cake, which I quickly vetoed, and we compromised on an “outer space” themed cake. (On a side note, if anyone knows what “outer space” flavor is, some insight would be much appreciated.)

Otherwise we don’t have a lot on the agenda. It’s supposed to rain here all weekend so we’ll probably be staying inside for the most part, though we may try to sneak in a walk or two if it ever lets up.

Let’s talk this week’s meal plan! Here’s what we’re cooking:

  • vegan quinoa chili – looks SO hearty
  • cheesy broccoli and rice – OMG yes
  • white bean soup with pasta and rosemary – total comfort
  • pad thai stir fry – lick the bowl clean!
  • teriyaki tofu bowls – delicious.

  1. Seaweed cake….lol! I think outer space cake is obviously chocolate. I’m pretty sure the milky way is made of chocolate and candy bars!
