Bring on the Brussels sprouts! You inspired me to try them… and I found out they taste great! 🙂
Ha, I almost thought holiday 15 sounded like a lot but I’m pretty sure I’d be capable.
Love that you posted a vegetarian dish on a blog named Confessions of a Chocoholic! 🙂
I love this! So good to have a fun, flavorful dish that is so healthy!
I HAVE to start shredding my brussels sprouts. They become so much more versatile that way.
looks awesome. I ll go check it out. =)
havent shredded my brussel sprouts yet – this looks a nice and healthy dish though after all of the cookies ive been eating
Wonderful recipe for a vegetarian main dish!
Such a filling and healthy dish. Looks so delicious.
Oh, raw Brussels sprouts, now there’s one I haven’t tried yet! Can’t see why not though, since I do love them most ways I’ve tried them so far… Gotta go check out your recipe now. 🙂
Love me some Brussels sprouts!
I’ve never thought about shredding brussels sprouts. Nifty!
I must confess… only you could get me to eat Brussels sprouts! Happy holidays & New Year Joanne!
I’ve never shredded my brussel sprouts before but i have peeled them with beautifully light and fluffy results. I don’t do it that way anymore because it’s too time consuming. This seems like the perfect compromise between time and texture.
I love Brussels sprouts! Must try them with chickpeas next time.
Angie
Wow, you’re guest posting all over the place! It’s no wonder, because your food is genius.
I am trying to avoid the holiday 15 as well, and both of these dishes look amazing! I saw your curry recipe guest post…it looks killer!
Shredded brussel sprouts is a great idea! I’ve only seen them cooked whole, never shredded!
Delicious love these healthy recipes.
I am so impressed that you can both blog for yourself and for Marcus. I can barely even pull mine up for 10 minutes in the morning!
Wonderful recipe for a vegetarian main dish! It makes me really want some. I cannot wait to try!
I’ve never tried shredding Brussels sprouts before. I think I might have to next time I have some. These look fantastic!
I love the sounds of this vego sausage 🙂
Dear Joanne, This does sound wonderful. I am certain I would enjoy it.
I wish you a very blessed and merry Christmas.
Your friend, Catherine xo
I’d like to try both please! 🙂
Veggies + wine = has to be a good combination. This looks like a great detox!
does the sausage add a lot? i tend not to like those “fake” meats so would most likely not include but then wondered if the dish would be lacking in fullness or something.
Anonymous – The sausage adds a nice saltiness/meatiness to the dish but I think you could get a similar effect with mushrooms!
Goodness, you’re busy! The food looks awesome :), Miriam@Meatless Meals For Meat Eaters
Yet again, this turns out to be my perfect meal. I just love every ingredient in this dish!!
You make me rethink bussel sprouts!! What a comforting dish as well as healthy!!
You made a sausage out of a vegetarian?
Damn….I have GOT to click over and see that 😉
Bought a stalk of brussels sprouts yesterday. Will have plenty for this recipe also.
I like these photos, thanks.
Mmm that shredded brussel sprout recipe sounds so good. I usually roast them but should try them like this.
