If you get raging alfredo sauce cravings like I do, but don’t really feel like expending all of those calories on eating it…then head on over to Marcus Samuelsson’s blog to check out my recipe for this roasted red pepper goat cheese alfredo pasta!Β It is surprisingly light while tasting amazingly delicious.
I am submitting this to Presto Pasta Nights which is being hosted by Ruth of Once Upon a Feast! It is going to be the last Presto Pasta Nights EVER, which is very sad to me since it was one of the first blog events that I participated in.Β I would never have encountered a large number of the blogs I read today without it!!Β So thank you Ruth for all that you’ve done over these years in organizing and hosting it. It’s been fun.
Mouthwatering, Joanne! I love roasted red peppers and goat cheese together. This looks perfect!
Yummy pasta dish!
look delicious Joanne I love to eat the pasta like this!:)
What a beautiful dish of pasta!
This sounds like a great combination of flavors. And I’ll have to check out the final presto pasta nights blog event.
Looks deilcious, Joanne. I know it is sad to see the end of PPN. I feel like most blog events are dwindling these days. π
How can you go wrong with roasted red peppers and goat cheese?! Yeah. You can’t. Fabulous looking pasta dish.
Love the idea of a light alfredo, and roasted red peppers and goat cheese are one of my favorite combinations!
Pinned this already and Stumbled it too! Alfredo makes my mouth happy but you took it up a notch with goat cheese and red pepper, two of my faves.
I usually don’t like creamy pastas because they’re TOO rich, but this sounds delicious! And I’m always looking for new pasta recipes for marathon training π
I only discovered goat cheese in pasta sauce rather recently and went totally bananas for it! I am definitely going to make this after vegan month. So, so, excited.
Jumped there, jumped back…
fantastic take, I am definitely trying it, the almond milk seems like a genius twist. I agree completely with you, Alfredo ordered at a restaurant is not worth the ton of calories, and after three bites I already regret it π
great post!
A great combo of flavours!
That does look wonderful! Goat’s cheese is my favourite!
OMG, I’m drooling!
This blows alfredo out of the water! annd it’s healthier? love!
I love roasted peppers, but never had it with goat cheese. I can’t wait to check out the recipe!
Aaand now I want pasta for breakfast.
That is a beautiful, beautiful thing.
oh man, this looks so much more appetizing than my lunch sandwich! wish i could have a huge bowl now π
That looks so creamy and delicious! Yum, for the goat cheese too! This looks like restaurant quality π
Goat Cheese alfredo sauce? 1,000 times YES! =)
I would like an extra large portion of this beautiful and delicious pasta please. Pretty please?
Love this! A great twist on alfredo. π
oh my gosh this sounds sooooooo delicious Joanne!!
oh that sounds so good. Not a fan of the goat cheese, but I would give this a try, oh yes I would.
This looks absolutely amazing. Wowzers.
Sad to see Presto Pasta Nights end – it’s been around forever!!
This looks like the perfect Pasta dishβ¦so delicious and creamy looking!
I LOVE a good alfredo. This looks amazing!
As usual, and so fitting for the big Presto Pasta Night finale – gorgeous photo, droolingly delish dish. I will miss our weekly get together, but I will be around and visiting here very often – for the photos, the recipes and your take on the world that usually has me laughing.
Hooray for goat cheese and roasted red pepper! Tangy and savory and FAST. π
I love how you’ve taken a classically delicious flavor combination and put a new spin on it. It looks delicious!
I only recently made a goat cheese alfredo and I fell in love. Totally want to try with red pepper now!
I hope the end of Presto Pasta Nights won’t be the end of these amazing pasta dishes! And I LOVE the artichokes in here- they sound like they totally add to the creaminess of the sauce in this.
Mmmm I have to try this red pepper dish my friend π
Cheers
CCU
This looks soooo good, especially on a cold, wet night like tonight. Please pass the cheesy pasta, PLEASE!
A wonderful combination. I think I could eat this for several days in a row without a problem!
Sorry the presto pasta nights are over but there’s nothing stopping YOU from continuing. π
I think I’d love this pasta dish. It’s got all my favorite things in it.
I love Alfredo, but my tummy doesn’t….I can’t wait to eat this!
I love the look of your pasta. So creamy and roasted red peppers are so delicious xx
Love Alfredo sauce but as you noted, it’s terribly rich. Can’t wait to try this recipe, sounds like a winner!
One of my favorite weeknight meals growing up was pasta with goat cheese.
This dish looks CRAZY good. And not as bad as regular alfredo, I LIKE!
I have a terrible visceral reaction to goat cheese-I can only tolerate a tiny taste, like a very tiny sprinkling on a pizza, and only then b/c the taste soon goes away b/c of all the other flavor-lol! But your pasta looks soooo tempting!
A lovely delicious way to pair goat cheese and peppers. Joanne
I’m the same way with alfredo – love it but avoid it. Yours looks like a nice way to get the sauce with much less calories.
I love it Joanne and it is so sad Ruth ends the event! I have participated quite a few times and I remember it running for so many years!
Fantastic looking pasta dish, Joanne! Simple, delicious and beautiful!
Goat Cheese in my alfredo sauce…swoon.
i’ll be darned if you haven’t made goat cheese look appetizing to me!
Yes yes and yes! Heading over to catch the recipe π
What a beautiful looking dish…goat cheese and roasted red pepper is a great combo:)
