    I would have never put bananas and zucchini together either; but it looks delicious. I guess chocolate brings everything together in love, right? We frequently have bananas rotting on the shelf and the occasional zucchini. This is the perfect way to use them!

  11. Zucchini bread is one of those things I resisted for a long time because it just sounded weird, but it really has the best flavor. You recipe looks great and I would love to try!

Before even reading the recipe, I’m already putting this on my list of things to make (only 10 things on that currently, not to be confused with my recipe binder, from which hundreds of pages are overflowing and there’s no guarantee any of them will make it all the way to the kitchen. the shear volume of the thing scares me).

    Oh yum! This reminds me of a Rachel Ray magazine where they suggested mix-ins for quick breads. I’d never think of doing chocolate chips with zucchini–banana maybe–but now that I think about it, zucchini bread does lend itself well to sweeter accompaniments πŸ™‚

  31. I always have bananas rotting on the counter, and I have never wondered what to do with them (because I make banana bread or muffins almost every week!). But I love that this uses zucchini as well. Headed over to check out the recipe.

  36. Yesterday I lamented the fact that I had bananas but no zucchini on hand…and then last night I got zucchini in my weekly CSA box!!! So obviously tonight I’m baking this.
